Chaparro Y Su Orquesta - (Rico Records)

My favourite track from the legendary trumpetist Chaparro is definatley ' En Africa '. A straight ahead top killer track, that only comes out when the hard core dancers are wanting to give it their all. Great breaks throughout the track and nice effects on the coro. Victor Rodriguez singing lead realy makes his mark on this track and shows of his sonero qualities. Great work here on all the 3 albums recorded in the 70s, with Tony Pabon as the musical director & I believe these releases were produced by no other than Ralph Cartagena. I know that these lps are also remastered and are available through Combo records.
