The Latin Connection - Fuego (Judith)

The latin connecton with the vocalist ' Luis Colon ' . Produced my ' Mario Morales ' & Eddie Morales '. This killer guaguanco from the 70's has great breaks and very catchy piano montunos and blaring heavy trombones and overall a very tight brass section. I especially dig the break before the montuno kicks in, very unpredictable..saborrrr !!!!. The piano and bass in the break down before the heavy percussion comes in is also a treat and hypnotic. The vocals of ' Luis Colon ' was recorded with this mysteious reverb/echo that really makes his voice stand out and overall this tune stand out in its own uniqueness. The song is not a fade out either yipeee!!! It finishes with a 6/8 rumba. Simply wicked !!!!!!! The Latin Connection also recorded an lp with other kick ass guaguancos. The SIDE B to this a bolero ' Hermosa Palabra ' .
